During labor, my role is to help you feel informed, grounded, and supported. I offer comfort measures such as breathing techniques, position suggestions, relaxation tools, encouragement, and continuous support for you and your partner. I help create a calm and supportive environment while honoring your choices, birth preferences, and the unique experience you desire.
A doula can support you at any point during your pregnancy, but the sooner you begin building a relationship with your doula, the more time you have to prepare, connect, and feel supported throughout your journey.
My recommendation is to look for a doula who aligns with your values, birth vision, and the type of support you desire. Many families choose to hire their doula during the second trimester, which allows plenty of time for prenatal preparation, education, and building trust before birth.
Every pregnancy journey is unique whether you’re early in pregnancy or nearing your due date, it’s never too late to seek support.
Depending on your preferences, support may include grounding practices, herbal traditions, Reiki, and other ancestral practices that encourage relaxation, connection, and overall well-being.
